LAA Economic Development & Environment Block Leadership

HP now leads for Hertfordshire Forward, the county-wide Local Strategic Partnership, on economic development matters, including co-ordinating the economic development block of the Local Area Agreement (LAA and LAA 2).

John Pryor, the block lead, provides a vital contact point for economic development issues and liaison between the key strands of economic development at county level (HCC policy, Herts LAA and Hertfordshire Forward's Sustainable Community Strategy, etc) as well as at national and regional level (for example identifying the implications of the new Regional Economic Strategy, the Sub National Review and Comprehensive Spending Review).
